Online gambling suspects, among them software experts, to be charged under Poca

30-v suspects linked to online gambling syndicates will be charged under the Prevention of Crime Act (Poca) after a raid in Petaling Jaya, Selangor crippled a group that allegedly developed such software, police say.

Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said that at the district police headquarters Friday (Oct 30), adding that police raid found an online gambling ring had been operating under the cover of a computer company.
